Chip shop takes a battering as car smashes in to building
A chip shop owner awoke on Sunday to find that his shop frontage had been battered by a Volkswagen Scirocco.
The white vehicle ploughed through Olivers, The Cross, Elland, at around 8.30pm on Saturday.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and had exited the car by the time fire crews from Elland and Brighouse arrived.
