Halifax officers injured after teen hurls bricks at police car

A teenager has been arrested after they threw bricks at a police car as they attended a domestic incident.

At approximately 8.10pm on Wednesday, police were called to reports of an ongoing domestic verbal altercation off Fenton Road, Halifax.

Officers attended and on arrival, a male proceeded to throw bricks at the attending police vehicle and damage was caused to the windscreen.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the attending officers sustained minor injuries.

A 17-year-old male was subsequently arrested for criminal damage and common assault and remains in custody.
