Woman killed after car rolls away

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was killed in a road traffic collision on Watty Terrace, Todmorden, on Monday afternoon, October 13.
A parked Ford Focus is believed to have rolled forwards and collided with the 49-year-old female driver. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters from Todmorden, Bacup and Halifax were called to the scene. They made sure the car was not moving and helped paramedics free the woman. Police cordoned off the street.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred at 2.57pm, is asked to contact PC 2997 Phil Eastwood in the Calderdale Collision Investigation Team on 01422 337234.
